A Priori

• Based on hypothesis rather than experiment.
• Self-evident, intuitively obvious
• Presumed without analysis 
• reasoning or arguing from causes to effects, from abstract notions to their conditions or consequences, from propositions or assumed axioms (and not from experience); deductive; deductively.
